Brighton Rock, the pop-up iftar concept by Ghaf Kitchen, will be held at Café Rider in Dubai. Café Rider will be transformed into a classic seaside hut with a kitchen concept built in. The menu will comprise of classic British dishes with a Ghaf Kitchen twist.
Appetizers, presented in colorful wooden trays and lined with striped cloths, will include red lentil and squash soup, served with Arabic herbed bread; feta dip; couscous salad with pistachios, raisins and herbs; strawberry laban shake; and house-cured olives to share. Main courses will include monkfish and prawn curry, polenta fries and parsley with red onion salad; roast chicken with roast vegetables and celeriac puree; the Brighton wrap: spiced lamb on beetroot hummus in Arabic flatbread; and the classic Ghaf Kitchen quinoa dog served with French fries.
Diners can quench their fast-induced thirst with water from jugs available to all guests, or by ordering lemon iced tea or apple juice, served in vintage lemonade bottles. The dessert board will offer guests vintage seaside treats including candy apples, freshly baked donuts with fig jam, cotton candy on sticks, and chocolate pots.
