Harmony and serenity are at the essence of creation for jewellery brand Tiny-Om. Virginie Dreyer is the creative founder and designer of Tiny-Om Jewellery and her unique designs are inspired by the universal symbols with each piece being a link between world and soul. Passionate about jewellery and yoga, Dreyer moved to the Middle East and currently works in Bahrain after being captivated by how craftsmen worked with gold in Bahrain.
When Dreyer moved to the Middle East in 2008, she took a graphic design course, launched her own children’s clothing line called CeQueJeVoeu, and then created Tiny-Om when she wanted jewellery to have a symbolic value and meaning.
The “Om” stands for the Om mantra, in the yogic philosophy, which celebrates the birth of the universe. Her easy to wear designs are made of 18 carat rose or white gold and are embellished with semiprecious stones or diamonds.
All the Tiny-Om collections are easy to wear and are handmade in the workshops of Al Zain jewellery house in Bahrain. Founded in 1930, it is one of the most famous jewellers in the Middle East.
Their first collection is inspired by the lotus flower, since the seven chakras in the yogic philosophy represent seven different lotus flowers, each piece represents one of those flowers. “Each piece of the jewellery line represents one of these seven energy points for which a specific flower design has been created. A semiprecious stone whose color is the symbol for the emotion linked to the flower adorns each one of the creations.”
