The Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Centre, one of the world’s largest cultural developments, is looking for artists to join its new Artist in Residency Program in Kuwait. Artist in residence programs invite artists into a space that is different from their usual environment for a designated time. They play a vital role in facilitating artists’ abilities to move around the world, building bridges between countries and cultures, as well as allowing artists to focus on developing their work.
The residency is open to Kuwaiti, regional, and international artists.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Centre consists of 4 museums: Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Space Museum, and Arabic and Islamic Science Museum. It also hosts a Fine Arts Centre, a Theatre, and a public space that includes outdoor exhibits, as well as cafés and restaurants.
